The Scow Schooner Project relies on the generous contribution
of time and effort from its volunteers to carry on its work.
If you can spare some of your valuable time, The Scow Schooner
Project has many exciting activities that you can take part
in. Fill out a volunteer

As a member you will be able to take part in the Project’s
volunteer opportunities. Annual membership dues are a tax
deductible contribution. The Scow Schooner Project is a project
of the Galveston and Trinity Bay Marine Museum a 501(c)(3)
non-profit educational institution eligible to receive tax
deductible contributions.

“Own” a piece of the schooner! Show your support
for The Scow Schooner Project by becoming an honorary owner
of a plank of the schooner. The plank can be purchased in
your own name, or you may wish to give it as a gift or to
honor a special person in your life. Historically, ownership
of a plank was given to a retiring ship’s captain as
a way of honoring meritorious service.
Current ownership of a hull plank is $200. An inscription
in your honor on a brass plate will be permanently displayed
on a plaque that will stay with the schooner. Plank owners
will be invited to participate in annual social and fundraising
events. A certificate of ownership will be issued for your
display.
